Sede Vacante

I have prayed and thought deeply about future of this blog                   and have finally come to the conclusion that I should not close it.
This had been my intention, at least until 8pm on Thursday evening when the Swiss Guard shut the gate at Castel Gandolfo and the  Vatican Gendarmerie took on the responsibility for the security of our beloved former Pope.

I cannot pinpoint the moment when I decided to continue.Suffice to say that I will continue it with changes to the front page as soon as they can be arranged. My apologies for the lateness of this post but my disablement caused by recent stroke is so far unimproved. I pray daily for a restoration of former capabilities. In the meantime I intend to post here once a week

With my prayers for all of you
Until the next time,
God bless all here,
Jane

Dear Jane,so glad of your decision.
Think it is right for you to continue, mostly I guess because I would miss your thoughts so much. The new Pope will need your support just as much as our beloved Benedict did and does. Will pray that in the weeks to come you will regain your former strength. The Holy church needs such warriors.
Much love
Sandy.

Thank you for this decision, Jane, and I'm sure that I'm not alone in my prayers for your recovery.

Good call, Jane. The blogosphere would be the poorer without you.
I couldn't help a gulp at the last minutes of Benedict's papacy. There seems nothing so final as the closing of a great door.

Hope the link works. Modern Tech and I are not so good friends!

Der Jane

I'm sorry to read that you have been so unwell. I hope and pray that you will make a steady recovery. I'm glad you have decided not to close your blog. I recently bought your "Gardening with God" book. It's lovely.

Thank you for your contribution and keep on going.
