At first sight it seems beyond reproach. The author is a convert and brought up in Texas. This could explain Paul's point about the Holy Spirit. There is little or no information about her educational background. It is however not a flimsy book. At first sight it seems well researched
It it is well indexed and includes bibliography and sources of information. I will have to read it thoroughly before commenting further. However my first check reveals that she gives no sources for her statements regarding the history of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'.
She has written other books on Catholic Devotions.
