How very, very appropriate that the only English Doctor of the Church should have come up for Papa's attention today!!! No time to tell you what he said, but it could not help but show up the current anti-Pope attitude in many areas of English Catholicism. We'll have to wait for the full text on the Vatican website as part of his ongoing series on the early Fathers. Vatican YouTube only gives a very potted version of his greetings to Anglophone pilgrims.
