Dearest Jane, How lovely to hear "Immaculate Mary" this morning! A few days of rest have set me on my feet again and early Tuesday I will return to Tulsa.

So glad to hear from you.

God speed for Tuesday!

With my prayers always,

Hooray! A Catholic hymn. I keep wondering why our hymns of verve and fervour have been supplanted by dreary Anglican ones in so many of our churches.

This is my all time favorite hymn. It brings back memories of grade school - it would give me goose bumps when 1600 of us sang it in church. Do you know the name of the choir in this? It's sad that we rarely sing these old hymns anymore.

Lenore: I think it's Westminster Cathedral Choir, London.

It is still sung all the time in Lourdes, but sadly, as you say is now rather a rarity in most parishes.
