My spiritual bouquet for pope Benedict is my offering up of hardship caused by illness and much prayer for him and the Catholic Church.

Thanks Lindi,

I'm sure our Holy Father will particularly appreciat this and will put you straight into his prayers. He does that you know and I have a much treasured letter to prove it. Did you see his Sacrament of Untion given to the sick. I do hope so. If not, I'll try and get a video posted here when I'm a bit more experienced. In the meantime look on La Croix and kto for videos.

You will be in my prayers too.

God bless,

Jane

Lindi,

Pope Benedict XVI has written profoundly on the connection between suffering and hope in his encyclical Spe salvi. See paragraphs 35-40.

Jane,

Thanks for clearing up the matter of the email! :-)

I'm in process of re-modeling Pro Papa I a bit. The new title will be "Redeemed by Love", sub-titled "Sounding the depths of Christian sacrifice in the writings of Pope Benedict XVI". Among the seminal texts to be mentioned in my first post after the re-modeling will be Fr. Mark's essay on Pope Benedict XVI and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Jane,

I've added a post to the Flagship inviting readers to visit "Thoughts from an Oasis" and make a spiritual contribution.

I noticed that the link to the Flagship in your blog roll is broken (the "o" should be a zero). Here's the correct link:

God bless!

Jane,

I think that you've captured the true spirit of the Pro Papa League here: offering sacrifice and prayer for our Holy Father.

My spiritual bouquet for Papa Benedetto: several hours last week defending him against rad-trad attacks on certain forums and blogs from which I used to publish my own noxious brand of anti-papa rhetoric.

Confiteor,

Thanks for plug and info. Have corrected it now.

God bless,

In Christo pro Papa,

Jane

God bless our Holy Father Pope Benedict, the successor of St Peter.

May we follow him in the footsteps of Christ and may God grant him a very long life. Amen.

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of this Shepherd for us your sheep. I ask you to keep him safe and well and grant him success in all his endeavours. Amen.

God bless one and all, and especially Donanobispacem (et Lindi).

Grigori

Daily recitation of Veni Creator:

Thank you very much indeed for this offering. Do you mind if i add it to the Rosary Garland (see more recent post) or would you prefer it went into the October General Spiritual Bouquet?

Thank you again and God bless,

In Christo pro Papa,

Jane
